What’s for Lunch?!?

The Top 7 Cafeteria Foods This Year
What%E2%80%99s+for+Lunch%3F%21%3F
  1. Pasta Bar
A pasta bar is now open everyday thanks to our new chef, providing a classic, consistent option that never fails. The pasta rotation includes tri color rotini, penne, bow ties, etc, keeping it fun and a little unpredictable. It also comes with pesto and marinara sauces as well as parmesan cheese.
  2. Chicken Tortilla Soup
Don’t you just love a delicious chicken tortilla soup?? Sitting right next to the salad bar, this soup includes a comforting broth, shredded chicken, and of course bits of tortilla. The textures and flavors are certainly not lacking in this one, and it serves as the perfect saucy side to any hot or cold main meal. I recommend pairing it with the potato wedges!
  3. Lo Mein & Dumplings
GA’s Lo mein and dumplings add an Asian food option to the mix, providing some nice variety on our lunch menu. Both the noodles and dumplings are warm and flavorful, and both are offered with or without meat. It doesn’t stop there—don’t forget to grab a fortune cookie on your way out!
  4. Chopped Salad Bar
Ever in need of a fresh, light lunch? Well the chopped salad bar might just be the perfect option for you! Though the line is very long, it is worth the wait. The fresh blend of lettuce, veggies, and a dressing of your choice will remind you of Sweetgreen or Chopt, but it’s right here at GA!
  5. Chicken Parm Sandwich
Though not commonly seen in the cafeteria, this is a fan favorite. The Italian delicacy is perfected by our chefs with the ideal ratio of marinara sauce to chicken to Parmesan cheese. This might be a once in a blue moon special, but it is thoroughly enjoyed when it appears.
  6. Chicken Nuggets & Fries
You can’t go wrong with the classic chicken nuggets and fries! This Wendy’s-nugget-dupe can be a great pick me up after a long day of classes, and depending on the time of your arrival, you could be pleasantly surprised by a different assortment of fry types. These include: spicy waffle fries, classic cut, or curly fries!
  7. Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup & Tater Tots
Though grilled cheese is commonly seen in the cafeteria, no one seems to be sick of this comfort food. It’s the perfect lunch for a cold or bleak day! The warm, rich soup is perfectly paired with the crispy grilled cheese and a crunchy side of tater tots.
