Voter Guide: President

Voter+Guide%3A+President

Hey Gators, don’t vote without knowing about your candidates. GAP is pleased to offer the GA community our first ever Forum voter guide. Essential reading for the upcoming Charter Day elections.

Jenna Antoine

As cheesy as it may sound, GA has truly helped me become the girl I am now. Before coming to GA, I was never given the opportunity to be a part of a community that has supported me so much. And just thinking that next year will be my last still pains my heart. Nonetheless, if elected as President, I want to give the students the same joy and happiness that they have brought me. And hopefully through my warm hugs, words of encouragement, and plans for next year I would be the perfect candidate.

Elsa Burgess

I’ve been at GA since CC and have always loved the sense of community and camaraderie that GA has to offer. Sine then, I’ve been involved in several different aspects of GA life, whether it be sports, music, or even forum, and would love to have the opportunity to represent all of you as your next School President!

Alice Grace

Hi, I’m Alice Grace and I’m running for President! I’ve gone to GA my whole life, and every year here has been more special than the last. My goal is to ensure that all of you feel as positive about your GA experience as I do. I’ve formed incredible bonds with so many people at GA, so one thing I would push next year is for more activities that help people branch out and connect! I want to be open to everyone and I will always be there to listen to your ideas. I’m really looking forward to next year, so know that Alice Grace will put a smile on your face 🙂

Claire Maruszewski

My name is Claire Maruszewski and I am running for President!! For those who do not know me here are a few fun facts: I am 16, my birthday is on Star Wars day, I am a hardcore Swiftie, I love to hike, and I play soccer and lacrosse at GA. I came to GA as a freshman from Windward and have participated in many things GA has to offer. I would consider myself an approachable and relatable student. I am running because I would like to give back to the community that has formed so much of the person I am today. The opportunity to make an impact on a place and group of people I cherish so much would be such an honor.

Ruby Montanez

Hi, I’m Ruby Montanez, I’m running to be the next Upper School President and here are some facts about me: I am an almost four-year three-sport varsity athlete on soccer, lacrosse, and the prestige team of GA basketball. I am a member of Madrigals, #altoforlife, and a member of the HOLA affinity group. And I’m an academic weapon with a solid B in math! I’m running because I’ve been at GA for almost 14 years now, been through Lower all the way to Upper School, and I believe that I know this community better than anyone so I will be able to take the students’ ideas and make them real! I love everyone I meet and I am so excited to run!!!! Love you all!!!
