Guise & LOLs

Clever Halloween costumes stand out from the crowd
Guise+%26+LOLs

Trying not to repeat basic costumes year after year? While vampires, pirates, and various Barbie characters may dominate candy-filled streets this year, why not choose to stand out and make a statement? Perhaps an unexpected play on words or even a secondary definition of a word brought to life could be a fun way to roll into a halloween party next week. After some digging on Google, I’ve found some fun and funky ideas. If you’re considering a way to freshen up what you can find on the shelf at a party store, here are a few options for fun and easy Halloween costumes.

Taco Belle
Still have your Belle costume from when you were 10? No better time than the present to recycle it and make it into a Taco-Belle costume. All you need is a taco hat! Put it on and wear that dress.

Cereal Killer
Want to do something scary this fall, but don’t want to be a zombie bride again? A cereal killer might be the costume you need. Glue some small cereal boxes to an oversize T-shirt, stab the boxes with spoons, and splatter some fake blood on the shirt.

Identity Theft
This one is simple enough to do, and may give a few flashbacks to spirit week, but playing around with some name tags and some basic clothes you have at home is always fun. Grab some name tags, put other peoples’ names on them, and slap them on your shirt. Wear a hat,  some sunglasses, and you’re done!
