Hello, everyone! I hope you’re all staying safe and healthy during these wild times. I have faith that we will be back together soon, but in the meantime, allow me to present to you some recipes I found on TikTok. One recipe is for peanut butter cookies and the other is for fresh pasta dough. I loved both of these recipes so I recommend trying them out. Enjoy!
Peanut Butter Cookies:
Rating: 10/10
Ingredients:
- 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 egg
- I tsp baking soda
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix. It may be difficult, but that’s okay!
- Put a baking sheet on top of your baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- After mixing, grab small amounts with your hand and roll them into little cookie dough balls.
- Place each cookie dough ball about an inch or two apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Enjoy!
Fresh Pasta Dough Recipe:
Rating: 9/10
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- I tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
Steps:
- Beat the three eggs in a small bowl and set aside.
- Place the dough on a cutting board or your countertop and make a pit in the middle of the flour. This pit should be big enough to fit the eggs and should not go all the way through.
- Pour the eggs in the middle of the flour and begin to slowly add flour until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead your dough until it looks smooth and is elastic.
- Coat the dough in a small layer of olive oil and tightly wrap in saran wrap.
- Place in the freezer and let it chill for 30 minutes.
- After the 30 minutes is up, lightly flour the surface you’re working on and roll the pasta out.
- Once rolled out into a rectangle, fold the dough into three parts and cut vertically, each about one inch apart.
- Unfold your now fettuccine and dust it with flour.
- Enjoy!
