Hello, everyone! I hope you’re all staying safe and healthy during these wild times. I have faith that we will be back together soon, but in the meantime, allow me to present to you some recipes I found on TikTok. One recipe is for peanut butter cookies and the other is for fresh pasta dough. I loved both of these recipes so I recommend trying them out. Enjoy!

Peanut Butter Cookies:

Rating: 10/10

  • 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • I tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix. It may be difficult, but that’s okay!
  3. Put a baking sheet on top of your baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  4. After mixing, grab small amounts with your hand and roll them into little cookie dough balls.
  5. Place each cookie dough ball about an inch or two apart.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Enjoy!

Fresh Pasta Dough Recipe:

Rating: 9/10

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • I tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  1. Beat the three eggs in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Place the dough on a cutting board or your countertop and make a pit in the middle of the flour. This pit should be big enough to fit the eggs and should not go all the way through.
  3. Pour the eggs in the middle of the flour and begin to slowly add flour until a shaggy dough forms.
  4. Knead your dough until it looks smooth and is elastic.
  5. Coat the dough in a small layer of olive oil and tightly wrap in saran wrap.
  6. Place in the freezer and let it chill for 30 minutes.
  7. After the 30 minutes is up, lightly flour the surface you’re working on and roll the pasta out.
  8. Once rolled out into a rectangle, fold the dough into three parts and cut vertically, each about one inch apart.
  9. Unfold your now fettuccine and dust it with flour.
  10. Enjoy!
