Clean your room
When everything has a place and you can finally see the floor, it’s a lot easier to focus on putting your resolutions into action.
Vision board
Visualize your resolutions with a collage of photos illustrating your goals for the next 12 months.
Study for midterms
It may feel daunting and overwhelming at first, but you can start with organizing your materials by unit for each class. After exams are over, you’ll feel like you can do anything!
Plan your summer
Summer may seem very far away, but deadlines for summer programs and jobs will come up before you know it. Do some research and enjoy thinking ahead to warmer weather!
Start a new hobby (or reconnect with an old one)
Whether it’s singing, dancing, painting, or running, find something you’re passionate about and find some time to pursue it. The beginning of the year is packed with activity, and a hobby is the perfect outlet to destress.
Try some new recipes
If your new year’s resolution was to eat healthy, cooking at home is a great way to do so. Find a good recipe on social media or maybe from a family member and have at it!
Set screen-time limits
We all are victims of phone addiction. Set a one hour per day limit on the apps you find yourself scrolling on the most.
Make a playlist
New year, new music. Find some songs that make you feel good and compile them onto your new favorite playlist.
Make a list of things that were good about 2025
It may be 2026, but 2025 was just a few days ago. Don’t forget about all the amazing things you accomplished in the last 12 months, write them down and remember them to carry the good from last year into this one!
