Issy Fottrell
Hi my name is Issy Fottrell and I am running to be all-school president!! I joined GA in ninth grade and it immediately became my second home. I have made such incredible connections with people here and will continue to create more opportunities for people to connect and branch out. I have been class president both sophomore and junior year, so I fully understand how Forum runs and that experience will just help me lead to the best of my ability! I will be there for everyone and my ears will always be open to hear your ideas! GA truly is my favourite place, and I cannot wait for next year!
Isla Freshwater
My name is Isla and I’m running because I seriously just love GA so much and have so many ideas to help this community that I’m so excited to share with all of you! I’ve been at GA for my whole life and always dreamed of running for this role so whether I win or not, I’m grateful to have the opportunity. Some things about me—I love to read, fall is my favorite season, and I’m very very talkative and social, skills that I hope will come into play if I were to take on this role. I’d love to get to know everyone in the high school better and help you out whenever you guys need. Thanks for considering me as your president next year!!!
Taite Harman
Hi! I’m Taite and I am SO excited to run to be your prez for the 25-26 school year!!!! I remember my first day at GA in fifth grade—I listened to the speech the all-school president gave and I knew that was something I wanted to do one day. I admired her confidence, excitement, and she seemed like a real girls-girl ;). The more I fell in love with GA, the more I wanted to represent us as students whilst also working to solve issues we care about. As your president, I would put in the effort every day to work on the little things, the foundation of our school, that makes the big things more effective. We are all so cool for being GA girls and I really want to highlight that! For now, here is a little bit about me: I love to speak in shortened words, I am a retired theater kid, a tri-JV athlete, I have red hair , I love to ski and run (join Run Club!), and am a HUGE foodie. Thank you… vote for Taite it will be great!
Emma Jones
I am so passionate about GA and our community of girls. I can’t imagine my life without GA. That said, even the best things have imperfections, and I know there are things we can improve on. My goal if elected president would be to listen to all of your feedback, positive or negative, and I guarantee I will do my best to make those changes happen. But even more than that, I want to be a role model and friend to each and every student at GA. I want to be available for good days, bad days, and every day in between. I’m so honored to be running and so excited for the future GA we can make together.
Mia Jones
Hey guys! I chose to run for president because I love everything about the GA community and I wanted to be a friend and leader to everyone in every area. I’ve had a lot of experience in leadership roles both at GA and beyond, and I would love to take on this challenge and create a better bond with every single student. Some fun facts about me are my favorite color is green, I rarely wear my shoes, and I absolutely adore chicken parm. Get extremely excited, lock in, and vote Mia. See you all on Friday for the speech of a century. #ICantWait #GatorChomp #Awesome
Olivia MacEachern
Hi! I’m Olivia. I’m running for president because I would like to give back to a community that has given so much to me. Greenwich Academy fosters a unique sense of camaraderie that is unseen elsewhere. GA is ripe with opportunities and I’m grateful to have been able to take advantage of many of them. One of my main goals is to highlight the individuality of each and every student and to promote unity. Some fun facts about me are that I am proudly lactose tolerant, I love geography, and I was the first baby born in Greenwich in 2008.
