Eloise Warden ’26
Hi everyone! I’m Eloise Warden, and I’m so excited to serve as the head of the Community Engagement Board this year. I joined GA in fifth grade and immediately fell in love with the camaraderie and support that define our community. I began volunteering with Building One Community (B1C) in the fall of my sophomore year and now have the privilege of leading the B1C club here at GA. Last summer, I traveled to Nepal with a nonprofit organization called The Small World, where I lived in a boarding house and taught English to Nepalese girls. This summer, I ran a half marathon to raise money to cover tuition and boarding for eight of those girls. My goal this year is to help students discover their passion for service and make it easier for everyone to get involved in meaningful volunteer opportunities.
Izzy Hartman ’26
Hi! I’m Izzy and I’m very excited to be one of the Senior Class Community Engagement reps! I spend the most time with Kids Helping Kids, a nonprofit organization that supports youth-led service projects, and I help organize their signature projects and fundraisers. I also enjoy supporting Filling in the Blanks, The Boys and Girls Club, and American Red Cross. I hope to get more involved with other GA-affiliated organizations, and continue to lift up our community.
Chloe Huh ’26
Hi! I’m Chloe, and I’m so excited to serve as one of the Senior Class Community Engagement reps! When I first joined GA as a freshman, I was immediately struck by the strong sense of community and support that makes this school so special. I currently volunteer at Clothes to Kids of Fairfield County, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free, gently used clothing to school-aged children in need. As a volunteer, I help sort and organize donations and assist families during shopping visits. This summer, I also volunteered as a GA Talent Enrichment, or GATE, counselor, where I made unforgettable bonds with my campers while leading and participating in fun activities every day. My hope for this year is for everyone to get more involved and discover what they’re most passionate about in service, because there are so many amazing opportunities!
Abby Cook ’27
Hi! I’m Abby Cook, one of the junior CEB representatives. My favorite organizations to work with are Coffee for Good, where I volunteer every Saturday morning, and Save the Children for drives and fundraising for crises in the Middle East and Asia. In the future I hope to continue to work with CFG and other organizations for neurodivergent people and possibly pursue scientific research in that area when I’m older. I also hope to run drives to help the people in Gaza and Ukraine through Save the Children. Thank you!
Caroline Stickel ’27
Hey! I’m Caroline Stickel and I’m so excited to serve as one of the junior CEB representatives! One of my favorite organizations to work with is Meals on Wheels. I co-founded a club at GA called Gifts on Wheels, where we make seasonal gift bags to go along with holiday meal deliveries. One of my favorite parts of volunteering is hearing feedback about the items the recipients especially enjoyed. I really hope the club keeps growing so we can do even more deliveries in the future!
Elettra Foley ’28
Hi! I’m Elettra and I’m one of the sophomore CEB representatives. I volunteer at Building One Community and hope to work at Kids Helping Kids this coming year. I’m so excited about the collaboration with GA press. This will be my second year at GA and I do basketball in the winter and crew in the spring. I’m looking forward to this coming year!
Sophia Steinberg ’28
Hi! I’m Sophia Steinberg and I’m going to be a sophomore after being at GA for 10 years. For the last two years, I have done summer service trips to Ecuador and Vietnam, which I absolutely loved, while also working in Connecticut! This past year I was on the team leadership council at the Sharing Shelf and also participated in Generation Impact. My favorite service that I’ve done is helping build houses in Vietnam this past July!
